The diagram on the back of the dress is the alchemist symbol for salt. Ancient alchemists valued salt as a crucial element in alchemical processes and its symbol was a circle containing a horizontal line through its diameter

UNDERSTANDING THE RTW-M:
The Desert Lily is an adaptive flower that is able to thrive in harsh environments. It symbolizes excellence and overcoming challenges
Desert Lilies grow on dry, sandy flats and washes in the Sonoran and eastern Mojave Desert. Over time they have adapted to a desert environment, staying below ground in dry years and shooting up from a bulb when conditions are favorable
